Follow these steps to register a party and put it on the ballot. You need a verified account, and the only required detail is a name.

Prerequisites

  • A World Republic account, signed in
  • Verification — the same one-time face check that voting needs. If you have not done it, get verified first.
Parties registered before verification was required keep their listing, their subsidies and their edit rights.

Steps

Open the Parties tab

Open worldrepublic.org and switch to the Parties tab — worldrepublic.org/parties goes straight there. Your own party lives in the Your party section at the top.

Fill in the details

In the Your party section, tap Register a party.

Optional. Your party’s website or social media page. A bare domain is fine — https:// is added for you if you leave it off.

Register

Tap Register. If you are not signed in, you are asked to sign in first — Use biometrics or Continue with Google — and what you typed is kept, so you finish by tapping Register again.

Outcome

Success! You are a party leader. Your party appears under Your party and is on the ballot straight away. It joins the parties list voters see by default once an automated review clears it — until then your party’s card reads In review, and a voter who chooses to show all parties can already find it and vote for it.

Troubleshooting

Registration is refused while your account is unverified, so the app explains the check and takes you to it rather than turning you away. Complete the scan, then come back to the Parties tab and register — anything you had already typed is kept.
An account leads one party at a time. Registering another asks you to confirm, and confirming dissolves the party you lead now and takes it off the parties list. To change your party’s name, description or link instead, edit the one you have.
On your party’s card, open Edit your party — it appears only on the party you lead. Remove party is inside it. Removing cannot be undone.
