# Raised by Humanity

> AI governance by a world parliament.

**Raised by Humanity** is the first World Republic campaign. It focuses on a single question: how should humanity govern increasingly powerful AI systems through legitimate democratic processes?

## Why AI governance is our first use case

AI capabilities are advancing faster than traditional institutions can coordinate. The effects cross borders, but current governance remains fragmented by nation-state boundaries.

Raised by Humanity brings this challenge into a democratic framework where citizens can:

* support parties with clear AI governance positions,
* vote in global test elections,
* and help shape institutional legitimacy before binding global governance begins.
